An e-scooter lithium battery is believed to have caused the blaze at a flat on Warwick Road on Wednesday.
Three people were taken to hospital after escaping through a window when the fire blocked their main exit route.
London Fire Brigade says it attended a record 206 e-bike and e-scooter fires last year.
