A man convicted of killing a woman during a speedboat ride on the Thames near Wandsworth Bridge has been released from prison.

Jack Shepherd is reported to have served half of his 10 year sentence for 24 year old Charlotte Brown’s manslaughter.

Shepherd, who’s 35, was also jailed for a separate, unrelated assault.

He went on the run for 10 months after being convicted of killing the 24-year-old on their first date in December 2015.

Charlotte’s father, Graham Brown, says he believes Shepherd is incapable of telling the truth about what happened.
