Elderly people in care homes are twice as likely to feel lonely as older people living in the community, Richmond Council has revealed.

Local charity Embracing Age is raising money in the Big Give Christmas Challenge to help train care home volunteers to combat loneliness.

Every pound donated to Embracing Age’s campaign will be doubled thanks to The Reed Foundation and generous supporters of the charity.
