Dublin-born Marie-Louise Nicholson, who teaches CrossFit in Wandsworth, has been crowned as one of the winners of Gladiators.

Nicholson, alongside Finlay Anderson, lifted the trophy after the gruelling 11-week tournament on BBC One.

Gladiators, which first aired between 1992 and 2000, was revived for one year in 2008, before being brought back in the New Year by the BBC.

Earlier this week, the BBC announced that the relaunched show will return to Sheffield Arena for a second series.
