The 69-year-old man was found at about 5pm on 7 January outside the Moon Under Water pub on London Road.
He was taken to a south London hospital, having suffered serious injuries, and he has now been released from hospital.
Police believe the man may have been assaulted and are asking anyone with information to contact the police on 101.
