Danny Macklin, the former AFC Wimbledon managing director, has been found by police after he had been reported missing.

Macklin was charged with misconduct by the Football Association after allegations he made abusive comments about a female colleague.

Essex Police had appealed for information after he was last seen near Braintree on Friday morning, a few days after he was charged.

Later on Friday, Mr Macklin was found by police in Cornwall.
