Croydon Council is proposing plans to extend the opening times of nine libraries in the borough.
Significant research found that less than 10% of residents are using libraries and that the current opening hours didn’t work.
Nine libraries would open five days a week, including Saturdays and offer a range of books, wi-fi, PCs, study space and events.
The proposals have been published for consideration ahead of a decision at Cabinet on the 25th of September.
