Youngsters at Riverbridge Primary decided to place it on the site of Spelthorne’s new Eclipse Leisure Centre.
The capsule contains diary entries and information about the rare medieval coins found during the excavation for the new building.
The capsule also includes a scroll listing all the primary and secondary schools in the borough.
