The brigade was called just before 1am this morning to reports of a fire on Ingram Road.
Part of the roof and second floor of a three-storey mid-terraced house is alight.
Around 20 people from the row of terraced houses have been evacuated, there been no reports of any injuries at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
