Around two hectares of scrubland and trees caught light near Watermead last night.
One of London Fire Brigade’s Terrain Support Vehicles was sent to the scene.
Each one carries approximately 475 litres of water and misting lance technology, which allows firefighters to pump while they drive.
There were no reports of any injuries.
