Another wet wipe count will take place on the banks of the Thames at Hammersmith Bridge today.

It’s been organised by environmental group, Thames21.

Its volunteers have collected more than 137,000 wipes over 94 clean-up events across London since 2017.

75% of drain blockages are caused by people flushing wipes down the loo according to organisation, Water UK.
