An educational video, developed by a team at the National Archives in Kew, has won a Lovie Award.

“Remembering Windrush”, which is aimed at children, details Caribbean migration to the UK.

It took home Bronze in the Social Science, Education and Discovery category.

The film won the award in a strong field of nearly 1,200 entries from 30 countries.

Scripted and researched by Rachel Hillman, deputy Head of Education and Outreach at The National Archives, and Clare Horrie, Education Web Manager, the film won the award in a strong field of nearly 1,200 entries from 30 countries.

The film was produced by web production company Toffee Hammer.
