An accomplished explorer has spoken of his devastation after his bicycle was allegedly stolen from outside a pub in West London.

Geordie Stewart says his bike, which he named Dorothy, was taken outside the Anglesea Arms pub in Hammersmith on Tuesday.

Mr. Stewart cycled on the bike 22,500 miles around the globe in 430 days.

Now the explorer is aiming to regain his treasured possession and says it is about sentimental value rather than cash.
