The Wombles striker was born in Iraq but moved to Toxteth in Liverpool at the age of one during the early stages of the Iraq war.
The youngster has scored 11 times this season, he moved to Plough Lane in January from Wycombe Wanderers and won EFL Young Player of Month in March.
He will be joining the likes of Manchester United’s Zidane Iqbal in the tournament in Qatar this winter.
