A hedgehog, found under a seat on a train in Weybridge, was taken in by a rail employee.

The hog, named Hector, was discovered on the South Western Railway midday service to London Waterloo on the 11th.

The employee in custody of Hector said he took him because “there was no room at the sanctuary inn this Christmas.”

He is being cared for by the man and his daughter in their back garden, until space becomes available at a shelter.
