The shop worker in his 20s was said to have been put in a choke-hold as two men made off with various high value items from the store in Kew Road.
Surrey Police was called to an address in Shepperton over a report of a concern for safety on Sunday night and the man was found dead.
The force says his death is “not thought to be suspicious”.
