A University of Surrey project is exploring how blacksmithing and creative arts could help young people in Surrey into work or training.

Research shows many of these young people want jobs or training, but struggle to access the right opportunities.

The project is working with local groups offering hands-on skills and creative activities to build confidence and experience.

It aims to create better, more practical routes into work and share what works across Surrey.
