A train strike warning has been announced on the day the ULEZ came into operation in outer London.

South Western Railway is reminding customers that it will not operate trains beyond Twickenham on Friday due to an ASLEF strike action.

Previous ASLEF Union strike dates were limited to depot drivers, who bring trains in and out of service.

But this strike will affect mainline drivers meaning less will be available to drive trains.

Major stations such as Hounslow, Feltham and Staines will not be served.
