The team of 10 is undertaking the gruelling 50km walk with the aim of raising £5k for charity, The Prostate Project.
Funding from the charity is currently supporting a number of research projects, including developing new treatments for prostate cancer.
The Prostate Project has already raised almost £2 million for cancer research at the University.
