32 year old Joe Hawkins has been sentenced to a four-week custodial sentence and a £239 fine for stealing items like steak and alcohol.
He was arrested after being identified and caught on CCTV thieving from a number of the stores he targeted.
Insp James Green says, “Shoplifting will not be tolerated, and we hope that the outcome shows that we are committed to tackling it”.
