A primary school in Kingston is trying to raise £60,000 to build a new playground.

Around £100,000 is needed to create the green space at King Athelstan in Villiers Road.

Supporters have so far raised £40,000 through targeted fundraising events.

The proposed playground would include equipment like climbing frames and be suitable for children with special needs.
