A piece of costume worn by the title character in the Netflix series Queen Charlotte is to go on display at Kew Palace.

The bold grey wig with accompanying tiara will be showcased in the late monarch’s dressing room from the end of the month.

The real Queen Charlotte died in her bedroom at Kew Palace in November 1818.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story depicts her marriage to King George and is a spin off of the hugely popular Bridgerton.
