A petition has launched calling on the Mayor of London to intervene in work being carried out at a major junction in Richmond.

The petition has been launched by Lib Dem MP for Richmond Park, Sarah Olney.

It’s calling on Sadiq Khan to extend the working hours of the engineers at Manor Circus roundabout to 24-hours per day.

Ms Olney says it’s to ensure the current phase of works is completed by the end of November.

The structural repairs and road safety improvements began back in August and are causing severe delays at the busy junction.

Transport for London recently agreed to extend working hours until 11pm to ease congestion after consultation with Richmond Council.
