A petition calling for an end to cat killings in Claygate and Chessington has been signed by more than 3,600 people.

It claims boys around the ages of 16 and 17 are trapping animals and using dogs to attack them for online entertainment.

The petition alleges this has been happening in Claygate, Chessington and surrounding areas “for months.”

Surrey Police has confirmed it is aware of the situation.

The petition on Change.org has been created by a woman who says her beloved pet was one of the victims of an attack.
