A number of train companies including South Western Railway are reporting delays due to an earlier nationwide signalling fault.

Operators including Thameslink, Northern, Southern and the Heathrow and Gatwick Express services are warning of disruption.

Network Rail say they’ve resolved the issue and are working to get things back to normal.

A Network Rail spokesperson said: “We are very sorry to any passengers who were affected by a temporary issue affecting the network’s radio communications system. We understand the issue has now been resolved, and we are working to minimise any further disruption.”
