Officers had been chasing two people riding a moped.
It then collided with a 27-year-old pedestrian and crashed shortly afterwards.
One of the suspects was carrying a shotgun and as the pair fled on foot, they dropped it.
All three victims have been discharged from hospital.
Work to trace a second suspect remains ongoing.
