Council contractors have begun works to improve the area near Effie Road by removing the old play area and concrete paddling pool.
They’ll be replaced with landscaping to make it more attractive and safer for residents, as well as improve drainage and biodiversity.
The works have been funded by the Grow Back Greener Fund 2022 and negotiations with private developers.
