A Go Fund Me campaign to raise £50,000 for the victim of the Clapham corrosive attack has been smashed.

It was set up by a friend of the woman who had an alkali substance thrown at her in Lessar Avenue on January the 31st.

The hunt for the main suspect, Abdul Ezedi, ended on Monday when a body, believed to be his, was found in the River Thames.

The fundraiser, which has hit £51,000 is to help the family rebuild their lives.
