A former student’s been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot with a crossbow at the University of Surrey.

21 year-old Almunthir Daqamah’s due in court where he’s also accused of possessing drugs and an offensive weapon.

Police say there’s nothing to suggest yesterday’s incident in Guildford was terror-related.
