AA Chicken World Ltd, on High Street, pleaded guilty to food safety offences and was fined £25,000 plus a £10,000 surcharge.
Croydon Council says inspections found dirty storage, mouse droppings and poor hygiene, along with repeated failures to fix issues.
The council says it will continue a zero-tolerance approach to businesses that put public health at risk.
