Police have been undertaking patrols in the area using Live Facial Recognition Technology.
It identifies people on a watchlist which can include those who are wanted or have outstanding arrest warrants.
A search at the man’s property found six rounds of ammunition, stolen mobile phones, cannabis and a stolen Oyster card.
He remains in police custody.
