People across Mole Valley are being warned about a company canvassing shoppers for donations in the street.

Homeless In Need UK describes itself as a Social Enterprise supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.

Mole Valley District Council says it is aware of them and they do not have a permit to collect donations and have been moved on before.

However, the authority says there is no way it can prevent the organisation from entering the district.

People who come across the group are being urged to report them to Police via 101.
