Carolyn Chiddy, from Fulham Ambulance Station, will join the London Life Hike after losing 55kg ahead of the transplant.

She says walking helped prepare her for the lifesaving surgery and hopes to raise money for defibrillators and CPR training.

Carolyn hopes her fundraising will help give more Londoners the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest.
