Veolia is encouraging appreciation of frontline workers and raising awareness of the rising abuse they face.
The awareness day builds upon the company’s existing SiteKind and StreetK campaigns which aim to foster respect for all essential crews.
Collection crews, street cleaners, workers who identify recyclable materials at recycling sites and businesses are all being recognised.
