A paramedic based at Cherstey Ambulance Station is preparing to row 2,000 miles around the entire coastline of Great Britain.

26-year-old Kit Nelson is part of the six-strong Nautilus team tackling the GB Row Challenge a week today.

Four of the team had never touched an oar before they signed up to take part.

They’re trying to raise £20,000 while raising awareness of the health of our oceans.
