The Poppy Factory in Richmond will throw its doors open to the public later this month.

It’s to mark the start of Armed Forces Week on the 22^nd as well as the site’s 100^th anniversary being based in the town.

Remembrance wreaths, Royal Wreaths and large decorative poppies are still produced in the building in Petersham Road.

The charity was founded to create employment opportunities for veterans who had been injured or wounded in the First World War.
