Police in Runnymede have charged five men in relation to shoplifting and assault offences across the borough.

Florin Matei, Cristian-Florin Radulescu, and Ionut-Relu Matei were charged after thefts at Waitrose in Addlestone.

Ali Naddi faces 11 shoplifting charges in Egham, and Ashley Watts was charged in New Haw.

Inspector Ian Nash says the action shows the ongoing effort to keep businesses and residents safe in the area.
