Lime Grove will be closed off to all drivers each day between 8.15 and 9.15am and 2.30 and 3.30pm under the plans.
It’s to limit traffic at peak times around Christ Church Primary School.
Residents will be able to apply for a permit to exempt them, but people living in nearby roads say they fear an increase in traffic.
