Project Description
Presenters – Paul Coia
Paul, a Scot who has lived in South West London for twenty years, is an expert on local cafes and tea rooms. Consequently you’ll usually find him working off the bacon butties at the David Lloyd health club in Raynes Park, where his fitness levels regularly cause laughter that can be heard in Croydon. When Paul’s not on Radio Jackie, he watches AFC Wimbledon play at Kingsmeadow and reckons they have the best chips in the whole of South West London and North Surrey.
Paul very much appreciates local history. His favourite walks include Richmond Park, Wimbledon Common and along the riverside at Kingston where you will find him engrossed in his iPod, listening to any new music he can find. He appreciates the area is steeped in memories and scenes of national importance, and he regularly pays respect at one tragically sad battlefield with its memories of Scottish wars lost and national tartan mourning. Hey, that’s Twickenham for you.
