Families staying at the Stanwell Hotel have been told they are being moved out of Spelthorne Borough.

The Council has been fighting plans by the Home Office to use the hotel for asylum seeking men only.

The authority says the building is already housing women and children who would otherwise be homeless.

An urgent letter has been sent to the Home Office seeking clarification.

Previous letters challenging the decision have gone unanswered.
