London’s first community toilet scheme, launched in Richmond, has now expanded to more than 70 locations.
People visiting the borough’s high streets can take advantage of the free to use loos at participating public buildings.
The scheme started in 2004 and has since been adopted by other councils.
The aim is to offer members of the public access to a wide network of toilets so that they never have to worry about being caught short.
