Road markings outside 54 schools across Wandsworth have been repainted.

The council has spent £1million on updating faded signs and lines, to make them clearer for drivers.

A further 49 schools with zig zag lines will also receive a refresh before the end of the year or before the end of next March.

The Council says it has also just passed its “ambitious” target of creating “school streets” outside 50% of the borough’s schools.
