Fire crews first responded to calls of a blaze just before 10:30pm on Saturday, which was fully extinguished yesterday.
Around 40 firefighters from across South London worked to dampen deep pockets of fire, as well as remove waste present from the site.
Residents had previously been advised to keep all windows and doors shut due to smoke, which has now subsided.
