Battersea Park neighbours have said they have been left in the dark over new a Saturday morning Parkrun that will ‘upset the status quo’.

Wandsworth Council approved plans to launch the weekly 5k running event in December last year.

Parents were particularly concerned as the council originally said access to the playground would be restricted during the event.

The council has since said facilities will remain open and they will be monitoring the situation closely.
