In August, 37-year-old Gary Light and another man approached the victim just off the A316 near Browns Breakfast Bar at around 1.45am.
They threatened the victim and another man with knives before Light made off with the victim’s phones, wallet, and motorbike.
Light was arrested following information provided to police as a result of an appeal.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
