Two-time Wimbledon Champion Sir Andy Murray has been defeated in his first singles match of the new tennis season.

Despite winning the first set, he was beaten in the first round of the Brisbane International by the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov six-two in the deciding set.

Murray is preparing for the Australian Open, which starts a week on Sunday.
