Humanitarian centres in Gaza have been closed today, with the I-D-F warning nearby roads will be considered “combat zones”.

Labour MP, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan raised the issue of sanctions on Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Commons earlier.

The Prime Minister says the UK will ‘keep looking’ at further measures on Israel, including sanctions, after it stepped up its offensive in Gaza.

Aid centres in the territory are closed today with the Israeli military deeming the roads around them ‘combat zones.’

It follows a series of deadly incidents in areas where Palestinians were waiting for supplies.
