Work has begun to transform a former community centre and doctors’ surgery in Egham into a revitalised medical complex.

Patients have been receiving GP care at The Hythe Centre in Thorpe Road in temporary cabins for several years.

The project is being delivered in partnership with the NHS, investors and the council.

The redevelopment is expected to be completed next summer.
