A previous Care Quality Commission survey has revealed an improvement in the way the NHS Trust supports infant feeding and birth partners on wards.

However, last year’s survey has revealed parents want more time with their midwife at antenatal appointments.

They’d also like more information about induced labour, and more access to pain relief during labour and after delivery.

Since receiving this feedback, Chelsea and Westminster says it has extended community antenatal appointments to 30 minutes.

The trust has also provided more information and workshops on induction of labour, and increased medication rounds on hospital wards.
