The County Council has commissioned an independent research agency to carry out the survey.
It will aim to understand perspectives of those who have experienced or witnessed violence against women and girls.
This can be physical, sexual, psychological, financial, emotional or gender-based abuse.
The report will be included in the council’s wider Violence Against Women and Girls Needs Assessment.
The assessment will then be turned into a public document.
